Brian Margarita Honored as one of San Diego Metropolitan Magazine's 40 Under Forty
San Diego Metropolitan recently announced Brian Margarita, president of TalentFuse, as a recipient of this year's 40 Under Forty Awards. Brian's generous role as mentor, business leader and his commitment to community and youth based projects mark him as a rising star in San Diego.
The 40 Under Forty awards began in 1999 at the San Diego Metropolitan when editors decided that too many business awards honored high-level executives who were already well known throughout the community. Editors realized that other's who deserved recognition were often overlooked because of their relative youth or experience. The 40 Under Forty Awards were established and continue today with a mission to honor up-and-coming, well deserving, dynamic businesspeople who also give back to society.
"I am very pleased to have been chosen for this award," says Brian, "I have worked diligently to get where I am professionally, but I have also made a personal commitment to improving the lives of people, especially children in our community."
Shortly after college, Brian joined a technology recruiting company and quickly became vice president of business development. In 2001, Brian took over the ownership of an IT staffing firm, and within five years, increased revenues from $250,000 to $6.6 million. TalentFuse is now San Diego's fastest growing IT recruiting and staffing company, and assists companies in all industries with choosing the right candidates for IT positions, ranging from network administrator up to chief technology officer.
